What was the highlight of your International Hockey career?
Winning a Bronze medal in the World Cup was the greatest moment in my professional career. The team, the bond between players and staff was something I have never lived again. We were Spain; normally we didn't expect to be on the top of this kind of tournament but, something special happened that year. All the hard work, all the suffering and the hard times came to an end and finally we had the reward we had been waiting so long for, and in the best way possible. Our dream came true and we made history in Spain being the first medal for our country in a World Cup.
What are your future plans?
I finish my international career but I will continue playing in my club (Club de Campo) this season and the next one. Things are going really great at the moment and we are working hard to achieve all our goals in Spain, and maybe, why not, be in another EHL final.
What advise would you give to young players aspiring to play for their country?
Work hard, dream, fight, be constant but, above all, ENJOY! Sport can be really hard and it's full of disappointments and sacrifices, but if you really enjoy what you do, with the right people, crying and laughing together, the good times will come and then, everything will have been worth it. Thats what you will remember when you look behind.
