Grays Teamwear partner SCHC have been crowned Dutch Indoor Champions for the first time in their history with Laurien Leurink playing a starring role. SCHC Dames defeated HDM 3-0 in the final. Leurink played a pivotal role in all 3 goals setting up fellow Grays Ambassador Trijntje Beljaars with 2 goals and then playing a role in the final goal.
Leurink commented after the game "Yes, I played quite a nice final ;-). I'm not trying to be the shining star. I don't walk with a ball unnecessarily. I don't score very much either, although I am a bit more productive in the hall than on the field. I enjoy creating, combining, giving the final pass. Like with Trijntje's second goal. Seeking connection is how I like to play."
